Congruent to its mission of contributing to children around the country as well as the Jewish community in North Fulton County, the Steven M & Betsy S Kramer Family Foundation donates to a variety of causes:
Through the Foundation's Chai North Fulton Program, begun in 2002, we give away each year a fixed amount to each eligible North Fulton organization to promote North Fulton Jewish Charitable Organizations that serve the needy. Any Jewish organization in North Fulton County is eligible, provided they agree to the terms of the program. The terms are generally that the award goes to one or more needy families on a one-time basis, that the award does not fund the charity itself, the charity reports back to the Foundation on an annual basis, and signs a contract to this effect. The Foundation has provided this program to the following organizations since 2002:
The Foundation helps Congregation Gesher L'Torah at the North Fulton Jewish Center in a variety of ways. It donates to the congregation's building fund, the pre-school, religious school, strategic planning, as well as general activities.
The Foundation helps the Chabad of North Fulton on an ongoing basis.
The Foundation also donates to Congregation Dor Tamid.
The Foundation gives annually to Doctors Without Borders, an international charity that does so much to help with medical aid of children and others throughout the globe.
The Foundation, in its direct mission of helping children, gives annually to No Kid Hungry, a national charity. It's goal is to end childhood hunger in the U.S. and around the world. It's a mission run by Share Our Strength.
The Foundation has donated to the Gary Sinese Foundation as part of its responsibility to help disabled vets in the North Fulton area.
The Foundation, in keeping with its tradition of helping children's causes, has donated to Parents With a Purpose. Parents With a Purpose is an outreach ministry affiliated with Church of God in Austell, Georgia, that is responsible for providing hundreds of needy children with school supplies, medical care, dental care, and other services related to preparing them for the school year.
The Foundation donates to the Summer Reading Program for the
Canton Public
Library in Canton, CT. The Summer Reading Program provides
incentives for children to read during the summer.
